+# X.org Sponsorship Levels for Donations to the General Fund
+
+## Principles
+
+X.org wishes to acknowledge and encourage donations from sponsors.
+This proposal establishes a set of funding levels with given rewards.
+
+
+## Levels
+
+The following levels are established (in US$):
+
+Bronze:   $500
+Silver:   $2000
+Gold:     $5000
+
+
+## Perk
+
+A. Bronze Level
+
+  * Acknowledgement on "SponsorshipPage" for 1 year in a "Special
+    Thanks" section (lower portion of the page).  No logo or links.
+
+B. Silver Level
+
+  * Logo, name, and hyperlink to sponsor's main website on
+    "SponsorshipPage" for 1 year in the top portion of the page.
+    (Logo size not exceeding 160x80 pixels)

+C. Gold Level
+
+  * Logo, name, and hyperlink to sponsor's main website on
+    "SponsorshipPage" for 1 year in the top portion of the page.

+  * Donations greater than the amount required for a given level can be
+    used to extend the duration of that sponsorship level, in 1-year
+    increments.  For example, a $1500 donation can be treated as three
