2019-05-21treewide: Add SPDX license identifier - Makefile/KconfigThomas Gleixner1-0/+1
Add SPDX license identifiers to all Make/Kconfig files which: - Have no license information of any form These files fall under the project license, GPL v2 only. The resulting SPDX license identifier is: GPL-2.0-only Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2017-12-19gpu: ipu-v3: allow to build with COMPILE_TESTPhilipp Zabel1-1/+3
Add missing include <linux/sizes.h> in ipu-cpmem and ipu-ic, select BITREVERSE for ipu-cpmem and GENERIC_ALLOCATOR for ipu-pre, and allow to build if COMPILE_TEST is enabled. Signed-off-by: Philipp Zabel <p.zabel@pengutronix.de>
2017-08-11gpu: ipu-v3: add DRM dependencyArnd Bergmann1-0/+1
The new PRE/PRG driver code causes a link failure when IPUv3 is built-in, but DRM is built as a module: drivers/gpu/ipu-v3/ipu-pre.o: In function `ipu_pre_configure': ipu-pre.c:(.text.ipu_pre_configure+0x18): undefined reference to `drm_format_info' drivers/gpu/ipu-v3/ipu-prg.o: In function `ipu_prg_format_supported': ipu-prg.c:(.text.ipu_prg_format_supported+0x8): undefined reference to `drm_format_info' Adding a Kconfig dependency on DRM means we don't run into this problem any more. If DRM is disabled altogether, the IPUv3 driver is built without PRE/PRG support. Fixes: ea9c260514c1 ("gpu: ipu-v3: add driver for Prefetch Resolve Gasket") Link: https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/9636665/ Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> [p.zabel@pengutronix.de: changed the dependency from DRM to DRM || !DRM, since the link failure only happens when DRM=m and IPUV3_CORE=y. Modified the commit message to reflect this.] Signed-off-by: Philipp Zabel <p.zabel@pengutronix.de>
2016-10-19gpu: Remove depends on RESET_CONTROLLER when not a providerStephen Boyd1-1/+0
These GPU drivers only depend on the RESET_CONTROLLER config option to fix build issues that existed when there weren't stub reset APIs for reset controller consumers. Given that these drivers aren't providing any reset controllers themselves, they don't actually depend on the API to build (just to function) so they don't need to depend on it. Remove the dependency to fix recursive build errors like the following: drivers/usb/Kconfig:39:error: recursive dependency detected! drivers/usb/Kconfig:39: symbol USB is selected by MOUSE_APPLETOUCH drivers/input/mouse/Kconfig:187: symbol MOUSE_APPLETOUCH depends on INPUT drivers/input/Kconfig:8: symbol INPUT is selected by VT drivers/tty/Kconfig:12: symbol VT is selected by FB_STI drivers/video/fbdev/Kconfig:674: symbol FB_STI depends on FB drivers/video/fbdev/Kconfig:5: symbol FB is selected by DRM_KMS_FB_HELPER drivers/gpu/drm/Kconfig:42: symbol DRM_KMS_FB_HELPER is selected by DRM_KMS_CMA_HELPER drivers/gpu/drm/Kconfig:98: symbol DRM_KMS_CMA_HELPER is selected by DRM_IMX drivers/gpu/drm/imx/Kconfig:1: symbol DRM_IMX depends on IMX_IPUV3_CORE drivers/gpu/ipu-v3/Kconfig:1: symbol IMX_IPUV3_CORE depends on RESET_CONTROLLER drivers/reset/Kconfig:4: symbol RESET_CONTROLLER is selected by USB_CHIPIDEA drivers/usb/chipidea/Kconfig:1: symbol USB_CHIPIDEA depends on USB_EHCI_HCD drivers/usb/host/Kconfig:84: symbol USB_EHCI_HCD depends on USB Cc: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> Cc: <dri-devel@lists.freedesktop.org> Cc: Heiko Stuebner <heiko@sntech.de> Cc: Mark Yao <mark.yao@rock-chips.com> Acked-by: Philipp Zabel <p.zabel@pengutronix.de> Acked-by: robdclark@gmail.com Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <stephen.boyd@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Daniel Vetter <daniel.vetter@ffwll.ch> Link: http://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/msgid/20161018205719.20575-1-stephen.boyd@linaro.org
2014-09-24gpu: ipu-v3: Kconfig: Remove SOC_IMX6SL from IMX_IPUV3_CORE KconfigFabio Estevam1-1/+1
SOC_IMX6SL does not have the IPU block, so remove it from the Kconfig entry. Signed-off-by: Fabio Estevam <fabio.estevam@freescale.com> Signed-off-by: Philipp Zabel <p.zabel@pengutronix.de>
2014-09-02gpu: ipu-v3: Select GENERIC_IRQ_CHIP to fix build errorAxel Lin1-0/+1
This driver uses GENERIC_IRQ_CHIP, so it needs to select GENERIC_IRQ_CHIP to avoid build error. Fixes below build errors: ERROR: "irq_alloc_domain_generic_chips" [drivers/gpu/ipu-v3/imx-ipu-v3.ko] undefined! ERROR: "irq_gc_mask_clr_bit" [drivers/gpu/ipu-v3/imx-ipu-v3.ko] undefined! 2014-06-04gpu: ipu-v3: Move i.MX IPUv3 core driver out of stagingPhilipp Zabel1-0/+7
The i.MX Image Processing Unit (IPU) contains a number of image processing blocks that sit right in the middle between DRM and V4L2. Some of the modules, such as Display Controller, Processor, and Interface (DC, DP, DI) or CMOS Sensor Interface (CSI) and their FIFOs could be assigned to either framework, but others, such as the dma controller (IDMAC) and image converter (IC) can be used by both. The IPUv3 core driver provides an internal API to access the modules, to be used by both DRM and V4L2 IPUv3 drivers.
