2019-04-09drm/mediatek: no change parent rate in round_rate() for MT2701 hdmi phyWangyan Wang4-16/+20
This is the third step to make MT2701 HDMI stable. We should not change the rate of parent for hdmi phy when doing round_rate for this clock. The parent clock of hdmi phy must be the same as it. This is the first step to make MT2701 hdmi stable. The parent rate of hdmi phy had set by DPI driver. We should not set or change the parent rate of MT2701 hdmi phy, as a result we should remove the flags of "CLK_SET_RATE_PARENT" from the clock of MT2701 hdmi phy. 2019-01-24drm: Split out drm_probe_helper.hDaniel Vetter6-6/+6
Having the probe helper stuff (which pretty much everyone needs) in the drm_crtc_helper.h file (which atomic drivers should never need) is confusing. Split them out. To make sure I actually achieved the goal here I went through all drivers. And indeed, all atomic drivers are now free of drm_crtc_helper.h includes. v2: Make it compile. There was so much compile fail on arm drivers that I figured I'll better not include any of the acks on v1. v3: Massive rebase because i915 has lost a lot of drmP.h includes, but not all: Through drm_crtc_helper.h > drm_modeset_helper.h -> drmP.h there was still one, which this patch largely removes. Which means rolling out lots more includes all over. This will also conflict with ongoing drmP.h cleanup by others I expect. v3: Rebase on top of atomic bochs. v4: Review from Laurent for bridge/rcar/omap/shmob/core bits: - (re)move some of the added includes, use the better include files in other places (all suggested from Laurent adopted unchanged). - sort alphabetically v5: Actually try to sort them, and while at it, sort all the ones I touch. v6: Rebase onto i915 changes. v7: Rebase once more. 2018-10-23drm/mediatek: fix OF sibling-node lookupJohan Hovold1-2/+3
Use the new of_get_compatible_child() helper to lookup the sibling instead of using of_find_compatible_node(), which searches the entire tree from a given start node and thus can return an unrelated (i.e. non-sibling) node. This also addresses a potential use-after-free (e.g. after probe deferral) as the tree-wide helper drops a reference to its first argument (i.e. the parent device node). While at it, also fix the related cec-node reference leak. This patch use layer_nr function to get layer number to init plane When plane init in crtc create, it use the number of OVL layer to init plane. That's OVL can read 4 memory address. For mt2712 third ddp, it use RDMA to read memory. RDMA can read 1 memory address, so it just init one plane. For compatibility, this patch use mtk_ddp_comp_layer_nr function to get layer number from their HW component in ddp for plane init.
